This item is actually two different items with two very different purposes. One prevents Lycanthropes from changing forms or using their abilities in any way, and the other causes a temporary curse-type form of Lycanthropy. These are a brilliant way to flirt with the concepts and issues that go along with true Lycanthropy, without crashing the campaign into full-on Lycan on Lycan action! The Ivory form of this Amulet curses the wearer to not be able to remove without standard save versus curse or having remove curse to rid themselves of its influence. Think of all the amazing fun you can have without the characters fearing being turned into a Lycanthrope permanently!
